First off, when I saw this title I wasn't too surprised. Researchers theorized that in about 15 years, the United States' energy will be mostly from the weather. Renewable resource potential, energy demand, emissions of carbon dioxide and the costs of expanding and operating electricity generation and transmission systems will meet future standards for electricity. I do know that more recently technology is being powered by wind. The fact of knowing that doesn't make me surprised about this article. I am also curious to see the standards of electricity by 2030.

Energy has definitely come a long way in the sense that alternative sources are so often used and the awareness of the problems that come from the use of fossil fuels for energy is rising. Still it's really interesting to think of the world run by only wind and solar power. Maybe by 2030 we will find even better sources of energy than that
